Do you provide free quotes?

We provide a free quotation service for all across Kent.

How do you price projects?

Our quotations are tailored to each individual project and are based on factors such as project scale, complexity, timeframe, and clientele budget requirements.

We provide clear, fixed quotations to ensure transparency from the outset, with no unexpected costs during the agreed scope of works. Should any unforeseen issues such as hidden decay, leaks, or structural defects be discovered during construction, these will be communicated promptly and discussed with the client before any additional works proceed, ensuring there are no hidden fees or unexpected charges.

Do I need planning permission?

Planning permission depends on the scale, type, ground makeup as well as the wider impact of your project, including how it may affect neighbouring properties and the surrounding area.

Certain works, such as loft conversions and minor extensions, may fall under permitted development rights and therefore may not require full planning permission. However, this can vary depending on the property type, location, and scope of works.

During the quotation and consultation process, we can advise on whether planning permission is likely to be required and guide you on the appropriate level of application or approvals needed for your project.

Will I need an architect and/or structural engineer?

This will depend on the scale, complexity, and type of project being undertaken. Smaller works may not require full architectural drawings or structural calculations, while larger projects such as extensions, loft conversions, structural alterations, and new builds will typically require both.

We provide architectural and structural engineering services in-house, allowing us to manage the process seamlessly from initial concepts and planning drawings through to structural calculations and construction. This helps ensure clear communication, efficient project coordination, and a smoother overall experience for our clientele.

Are you fully insured?

Yes. Every trade and contractor working on site carries a minimum of £1 million Public Liability Insurance, ensuring all works are undertaken with appropriate professional cover and compliance.

Do you offer a guarantee?

Yes. All completed works are covered by a 10-year workmanship guarantee, alongside any applicable manufacturer warranties provided on materials, fixtures, and appliances used within the project.

What areas of Kent do you cover?

The whole county — including Maidstone, Sevenoaks, Tonbridge, Bromley, Sevenoaks, Medway, Orpington and Dartford.

Can I live in my home during the work?

Yes, however this may vary depending on the scale, location, and nature of the works being undertaken. Some projects can be completed with minimal disruption, while larger or more intrusive works may require temporary adjustments to daily living arrangements.

Any expected disruption, including duration, impact, access requirements, or temporary service interruptions, will be discussed in detail during the quotation and planning stage of your project. Should any unforeseen issues or required changes arise during construction, these will also be communicated and discussed with you in full before further works proceed.

Wherever possible, we aim to carry out works efficiently and professionally to minimise disruption to your home and daily routine.

Do you work for landlords and developers?

Yes. Our services are provided to a wide range of clientele, including landlords, property developers and homeowners.

We are experienced in delivering projects across both residential and development sectors, tailoring our approach to suit the scale, programme and specific requirements of each client.
